AP Psychology
The purpose of the Advanced Placement course in Psychology is to introduce students to the systematic and scientific study of the behavior and mental processes of human beings and other animals. Students will be exposed to the psychological facts, principles, and phenomena associated with each of the major subfields within psychology. They will also learn about the methods psychologists’ use in their science and practice. The aim of the AP course is to provide the student with a learning experience equivalent to that obtained in a college introductory psychology course. In May the AP exam in Psychology will be administered to students, and it will be a representative evaluation of such an introductory course.
A failure is not always a mistake, it may simply be the best one can do under the circumstances. The real mistake is to stop trying."
